A priceless line from a TSL story about students protesting an immigration speaker:
The protests were two-fold: there was a college-wide boycott of the event, as well as an organized demonstration in which students with signs taped to their white shirts stood silently and faced the audience when the first speaker was called to the podium. The sign’s messages included “Spectacle does not equal Discourse,” and “We can do better.”
UPDATE: My God there’s more.
