   I stopped paying attention to this race a few weeks ago because I had a sinking feeling that they were going to reelect the outgoing chairman. That seemed to be in the spirit of how things have gone these last few years.

   I really don’t want to start thinking about how long it’s been since the Republicans did something this undeniably smart. It’s been too long. Yay Michael Steele!
