The last seven years have been the first test of the all-volunteer army in extended combat, and whatever problems the Baby Boomers leading the military have caused, the depth and breadth of Millenials' sense of duty and patriotism has ensured we will not lose due to a defficiency - in quality or quanity - of enlistedmen and young officers. Mr. Nathan's criticism that his friends are theives doesn't really trump the fact that no prior generation has seen so much combat without needing a draft. It is, perhaps, a testament to how wide spread notions of duty and patriotism are among Millenials that this fact could go unnoticed.
