So how will the libs/Marxist/whatver explain the unraveling of their cherished Miranda rights just for starters – when KSM comes to trial?
Surely that will be submission #1 from any competent defense attorney as I understand it.

This squirming will initially be fun to watch – but has a much darker side.

Where to after that? Especially as the current incumbents control all the levers of power including appointment of a long standing judiciary.

While I consider myself second to none in my loathing for Alberto Gonzales — whose appointment rivals Harriet Miers’ as the nadir of the Bush years — there’s been a fairly universal reappraisal of Ashcroft, and Mulcasey was, by all accounts, both decent and competent.

I’ve had mixed feelings on this particular issue, but I’m leaning toward Graham after seeing this. It’s nice to see people pushing against the administration in coherent and principled ways and making their voices heard above the “terrists gonna kill New York” crowd.

Besides the banal and frankly overblown fear that streams of jihadi soldiers will come pouring out of San Quentin or Riker’s or whatever fear-mongering Fox and Friends is regurgitating this week, there is something more insidious and dangerous about what Obama and Holder are doing here.

They are perverting our justice system to make themselves look magnanimous and decent. This is a “hey look we’re not bastards like George Bush” Trial – nothing more. They aren’t interested in justice or the law only their own image.

I agree whole-heatedly with you on every point here, though I prefer to think of Graham as the Gilligan to McCain’s Skipper, rather than as his BFF.

Addendum: I definitely plan on watching this video repeatedly; it’s that good. But is it something to watch when I’m in a bad political mood and need a picker-upper, or something to watch when I’m feeling good and need to remind myself that, crap, Eric Holder is AG?
